Rwandan Epic opens for all participants on the final stage. Join for the full stage of 65km from Nyabihu to Rubavu, or opt for the shorter 20km ride from Rubavu to Rubavu. The short ride is also suitable for gravel bikes. Not keen on cycling? Get a ticket to the final dinner and party, and celebrate the finish together with the Rwandan Epic champions!

Join the champions

Ride the spectacular final stage of the Rwandan Epic, and test yourself against some of the best riders in Rwanda and the world

Choose your bike and distance

For the second time, we are adding a 25km loop, with start and finish in Rubavu, which is also accessible to gravel bikes

Be awareded

All finishers will receive a medal and t-shirt, and can access the award ceremony. Finisher dinner tickets are sold seperately. 

A shuttle will be taking participants back to the starting line of the 65km race, in order to allow them to pick up parked vehicles, Sunday at 2pm and at 5:30pm. 

How to get there (and back)?

Start line of the 65km : La Corniche hotel, Nyabihu (Mukamira)
Start line of the 30km : Palm Beach hotel, Rubavu (Brasserie)

Secure parking at La Corniche is available, and public parking space at Brasserie as well. 

For logistical purposes, participants can book shuttle tickets. Shuttles will be going on 3 moments:

  • 30 minutes after the final finisher (estimate 14h00)
  • 30 minutes after the closing ceremony (estimate 18h30)
  • Morning of Sunday 5th of November after the athlete breakfast of Rwandan Epic athletes (estimate 08h30)

When booking a shuttle ticket, you do not yet have to provide the choice of shuttle, this will be asked at registration in the morning of the race.
